Hello!
I am Alex Franczek, a UW-Madison alumni that studied Communication Arts - TV, Radio, and Film, Digital Cinema Production, and Digital Studies. I am interested in technology of all kinds, including computers, videography, and editing, and how these technologies intersect with communication and entertainment. I want to grow my expertise with videography and editing while applying my creative skills to production work within the entertainment industry. I am looking for editing and production jobs at entertainment companies within the entertainment industry.
My Story
My interest with media production began at UW-Madison, where I started to develop an interest in applying my creative skills to editing and production work. Across my time studying, I led interdisciplinary teams, including creatives, performers, and technicians, from pre-production through post-production. I developed production schedules and tracked milestones to ensure timely and high-quality project completion and facilitated team meetings, managed communications, delegated responsibilities, and ensured alignment with project goals. I supported post-production workflows and final content delivery for award-winning student projects. My previous work experiences with lifeguarding and shift leading at a pizzeria helped me build leadership and team skills that have helped me within my production experiences with group projects.
